In this video you will see me playing with the new art journal "Mixed Media - Create Happiness" (designed by Vicky Papaioannou and Stamperia).
This journal is great for "art journaling newbies" because the pages have a little bit of a design printed on and therefore the page isn't blank and scary :-) You can also take the pages out of the journal and play freely.
I put down color (the new Distress Ink / Oxide "Uncharted Mariner" and "Vintage Photo" by Tim Holtz) and then I played with Stamperia's new stencil "Create Happiness" and the ephemera for the collection "Our Way".
As you can see: I change my mind often and don't worry about mistakes. I just have fun creating. That's the beauty with art journaling - there is no right or wrong. It doesn't have to be perfect. It is not a card for somebody else - you just create for yourself.
I hope this video shows you the great pieces designed by Stamperia but also takes out the fear of "art journaling".
